How would you describe your job?
Payroll, Document Control (RFIs, DCRs, submittals, drawings, punch lists, start up, closeouts), Financials (cost tracking, budgets, field orders, declining balances), and assist project managers, safety and overall team with all necessary needs.
What is your favorite part about your job?
Working in the field with the trades, customers and team. I have been with CCC for 10 years and have learned a lot about what we normally don’t see behind the scenes.
I have worked for some of the tiers (COMAU, Webb) and to see something get built from the ground up is amazing.
How would you describe CCC to someone outside the company?
We are a construction company that performs installation and civil work.
What’s your best memory of working here?
The people. And being able to see something built from the ground up, or being disassembled and taken out.
What does your typical workday look like?
Gather all necessary information to do payroll, T&M sheets, daily reports, financial reports, and anything else that comes across my desk.
What projects have you worked on that you find particularly interesting?
General Motors Marion Stamping Press Removal. I have been on Body Shop, General Assembly, Engine, and Transmission too. They all have something different – I always learn something new on each job.
What skills are most valuable for this position?
Computer/Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.), and communication with the team and customers.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I like to read, listen to books, and work on fixing things. I used to shoot pool, but haven’t done it in a while.
