For two weeks in June, CCC’s 4th annual Operation Hydration contest took place. This contest was started in an effort to make drinking water and staying hydrated a permanent habit for CCC employees, both in the field and office.
During this two week period, the average participation was 251 employees who drank 10,037 servings of water. Twenty-six employees won a $25 gift card from a weekly drawing of employee log sheets where they fulfilled their daily water quota of 8 – 8 oz. glasses. Also, the grand prize for the construction site with the highest participation percentage over the two week period went to Marathon with 85%. The prize was lunch and all Marathon workers where entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card. Doug Kivimaki was the big winner of that gift card (pictured below).
Thanks to our Safety Department for putting on the contest and to all who participated. Remember to keep drinking water for your health and safety!
