CCC is very pleased to announce the promotion of Justin Colburn from Project Manager to Operations Manager for the Installation Division. Over the past three years, Justin has taken on the lead management role for most of the largest and most difficult installation projects including Chrysler Toledo Assembly Complex (TAC) Body Shop Installation, Chrysler Sterling Heights Assembly Plant (SHAP) Body Shop Installation and currently the General Motors Detroit-Hamtramck (GM DHAM) “Turnkey” General Assembly program.
The GM DHAM project was by far the most difficult of not only Justin’s career, but for the Installation Division as a whole. Because of the success of this project, CCC has become a “Strategic Partner” with General Motors doing General Assembly conveyor and tooling programs through single-sourced negotiated contracts. In his new role, Justin’s focus and responsibility will be with these general assembly programs, along with overseeing a management team.
Justin has a Master of Science degree from Lawrence Technological Institute in construction engineering management, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University in mechanical engineering. He has over 10 years of experience in industrial construction and engineering, and has been with CCC since 2003.
